The pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries depend on tightly integrated enterprise technology ecosystems to maintain product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM) serves as the central quality orchestration platform for many life sciences organizations, yet its full potential is realized only when it is deeply connected to adjacent enterprise systems, including integration middleware platforms, laboratory information management systems, and manufacturing execution systems. This study examines advanced integration architectures that connect SAP QM with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, TIBCO BusinessWorks, and leading LIMS solutions, including LabWare, Lab Vantage, and STARLIMS. Drawing on SAP integration documentation, vendor technical references, applicable regulatory frameworks including 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11, and published academic and practitioner literature, this paper analyzes the architectural patterns, data flow models, and governance implications of enterprise integration in GMP-regulated quality management environments. The findings demonstrate that event-driven and API-led connectivity architectures substantially improve data latency, inspection traceability, and cross-system audit trail integrity compared to point-to-point integration approaches. A Reference Integration Architecture (RIA) is proposed to guide organizations in designing scalable, compliant, and maintainable integration ecosystems centered on SAP QM.
